14 weeks
14+1
Today I’m 14 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I must say I’m feeling pretty ok so far with some downs. The biggest down so far was last week wednesday when I returned home sick from work. I wasn’t feel so well when I got up that morning and making my sandwiches was making me feel like throwing up. Now I know that can be a part of pregnancy so I didn’t pay too much attention to it.
Once at work it went from bad to worse, so at about 12.30 pm I decided it was really better to go home (after vomitting 3 times already at work). So I reported myself sick and went home. When I came home all just came out and I just kept drinking water, cause I was feeling so thirsty. Called the doctor and got some medication to surpress the feeling to vomit. Thank God that helped me, but not untill 4 am in the morning. I was exhausted and glad I could finally get some sleep.
I used thursday to regain some of my strength, cause on friday I needed to make an ultrasound and had to have bloodtest done. So sleep sleep and more sleep.
On friday I had an ultrasound scheduled at 12.45 pm. These are the ultrasound pictures.
Here our baby is 6.47 cm tall from head to butt, taken at 13 weeks and 2 days ( 13-04-2007 )
Everything was looking great, baby just didn’t want to go in the right position for the lady that was making the ultrasound. So she also had to do internal ultrasound so she could measure the fold in the neck which was 1.3 mm, which was low.
Then I had to go to the hospital for another bloodtest. Still waiting for the results of them, but that could easily take up to 2 weeks, they said at the hospital.
Yesterday I had my check-up at the midwife. All was fine and she let me listen to the babies heart, which is always good to hear.
I so envy you having the photos. When I had my ultrasounds, no one was offering copies of what they saw. They are going to be so incredible to look back on when your little peanut is 18 years old!
Thank you. With the last ultrasound I just asked for another photo, cause she gave only one and my partner wasn’t with me (he had to work) and I didn’t want to deny him the pleasure of seeing his child. And with the 1st ultrasound I got 4 pictures and I didn’t even had to ask for them (I will post them as well)
And with my son (12 yrs old) I had the pleasure of having both ultrasounds I had videotaped (which apparently they don’t do anymore these days 
And yeah I think it’s nice when kids can see themself as they were in your tummy 
wow that was so cool. I’m also 14 weeks 1 day pregnant.
