Licorice & being pregnant

If you love licorice like I do from time to time, not too worry completely, you don’t need to stop eating it totally throughout the pregnancy.

Depending on the kind of licorice, you can consume 50 to 150 grams a day. Too much licorice can raise your blood pressure though, so just keep an eye out.

And 150 grams is quite some licorice, I think. Since I don’t have a licorice addiction, I’m cool, with eating a few here and there. :D

  1. Thats great to hear because i have had a massive craving for licorice while pregnant and there is nothing worse than not being able to give in to it! I guess they say about anything in life…everything is ok in moderation!
