34 weeks
34+0
I’m today 34 weeks pregnant. Another week has passed. I’m feeling pretty okay.
Both my back and neck are feeling a lot better, lets see if it’s going to stay that way or not. My next physio appointment is on Monday and I don’t know what will happen till then. But so far so good.
My ankles haven’t been swollen at all the past weeks, which is good, cause then at least I can get my boots on and my feet won’t hurt.
I’ve been having some nausea the past days again and I’m not happy about it at all. Because of the nausea I eat a lot less then I normally do. Maybe I should take some extra vitamins, I don’t think that could harm.
I don’t know if the baby has something to do with the nausea, cause it’s been moving a lot. It’s moving again even while I’m typing this. Is that kid doing stretch exercises or something in there?
My belly is being rearranged and takes many funny shapes.
My sleeping still sucks as much as it’s been sucking since the beginning of my pregnancy. I really hope I will sleep better once the baby is born.
My mood is so so. That’s because there is still too much stress around. I’m pretty worried about my mom and the chemotherapy. And further a bit stressed about all the baby stuff that still needs to be done. Sigh. I’ll pray for the best.

Congratulations on your baby! I am a birth doula and am working on putting lots of useful information about the use of labor support on my blog http://www.birthamiracle.wordpress.com Come check it out!
Thank you Naomi, I checked out your page. Where does the word ‘doula’ come from, cause I never heard of it, till today, sorry about that.
doula is a greek word that has been translated as a few different meanings, including “woman help woman”, “woman servant” and “wise woman of birth”. Basically, she is an experienced woman in birth who assists women through emotional, physical, informational, spousal and advocacy support. The term most are familiar with is birth coach, but a coach is more directive than a doula, who helps the mother to gain confidence in herself by encouraging her to make the decisions and take responsibility for her birth choices.
Hope this helps!
Thanks so much for the explanation, I don’t think we have those here in Holland. Since I had never heard of them before. But it does sound good to have around.
